Salvation, Baptism, Discipleship

Making it right with God, where do I start?

ADMIT (Rom 3:23)

Admit your sins have been the barrier preventing you from a relationship with God and this obstacle of sin can only be removed through the work of Jesus on the cross.

BELIEVE (John 3:16)

Believe in the unconditional love of God who sent his son Jesus Christ to die for your sins and that through him you can obtain forgiveness and eternal life.

CONFESS (1 John 1:9)

Confess your sins to God and receive the complete forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all unrighteousness by him who is faithful and just.

REPENT (Acts 2:37-38)

Repentance is the changing of mind and direction. The new direction of your life must now be I submission to the leading of Jesus via his word and Spirit.

After true repentance then comes the step of baptism.

Let’s Pray

Lord, I admit I am a sinner. I need and want Your forgiveness. I accept Your death as the penalty for my sin, and recognize that Your mercy and grace is a gift You offer to me because of Your great love, not based on anything I have done. Cleanse me and make me Your child. By faith I receive You into my heart as the Son of God and as Savior and Lord of my life. From now on, help me live for You, with You in control.
In Jesus name, Amen

The great commission and mandate for all believers as commanded by Jesus is to make disciples.

Who is a disciple? It is one who hearsunderstands, and obeys the teachings of Jesus. Disciple making is helping people know Christ personally, follow Him completely, and make Him known broadly.
